What We Offer

One-to-One Mental Health First Aid

A private first conversation to understand what is happening, identify immediate needs and consider safe next steps.

Initial Needs and Safety Assessment

A focused assessment of current concerns, support needs and immediate safety. This is not a diagnosis or clinical assessment.

Referral and Signposting

Referral or signposting to an appropriate community, statutory, regulated or specialist service after the first-aid conversation.

Third-Party Psychology and Counselling

Psychology and counselling are not delivered directly by I-Care Services CIC. Where appropriate, we help people access independent third-party providers.

Holistic Wellbeing Routes

Signposting to suitable wellbeing, primary-care, specialist or functional-health professionals where appropriate, plus clear crisis routes when urgent help is needed.

What To Expect

01

Private First Conversation

We listen without judgement and explain confidentiality and safeguarding limits.

02

Initial Assessment

We consider current needs, priorities and immediate safety without diagnosing or providing clinical treatment.

03

Referral Options

We explain suitable routes and, with your agreement, help make an onward referral where appropriate.

04

Follow-Up

We clarify the agreed next step and any information needed for the referral route.

What We Cannot Do

We are not an emergency service and cannot replace statutory, clinical, legal or regulated advice. Where specialist or emergency support is needed, we help identify appropriate routes.

What To Prepare

Bring only what you feel comfortable sharing at first contact. Useful basics may include your preferred contact method, the service area you are interested in and a short summary of what is happening.

After You Contact Us

We review first-contact requests as soon as possible, but this service is not monitored 24/7.

Your privacy matters

Confidential, respectful support

We handle information carefully and explain confidentiality limits, including safeguarding or immediate safety risks.
